Description:

An all-inclusive immunization program is provided for all youth entering the Division of Juvenile Corrections. Information about previous immunizations is collected from the home, previous placements, school, and the Wisconsin Immunization Registry (WIR). Immunizations, including HBV, are provided dependent upon previous history.

All immunization information received as historical data, as well as any immunizations given while in a correctional facility, is entered in the WIR program, a web-based tracking system.
